I would recommend any and everyone to see Dr. Newman. I was diagnosed with basal cell skin cancer just below my right eye. The basal cell straddled the soft thin skin below my eye as well as the thicker skin of my cheek. Since I was told it needed to be removed and my insurance wasn't going to have a plastic surgeon remove it, I consulted and ultimately had Dr. Newman remove it. I DO NOT regret have Dr Newman remove it. He did such an amazing job that the scar is hardly visible. Friends and family can hardly believe I had a surgical procedure on such a delicate area of my face and had such amazing results. Thank You so much Dr. Newman.

Recently I went to see Dr. James Newman to remove the bags of fat from underneath my eyes and by far that was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I look great, the result is outstanding and I get compliments every day. Dr. Newman is excellent at what he does. I would give him more than five stars if I could. Everything about that experience was unbelievable. The place is super clean and so comfortable. Prices are incredibly low compared to other doctors. His staff is outstanding and very accommodating. I would definitely go back for my next procedure.

I had a great experience with Dr. Newman and his team (Windy & Dee) this year. I underwent a transconjunctival lower blepharoplasty a few weeks ago. Dee and Windy frequently contacted me to check in after the surgery and to answer questions which I appreciated. The surgery itself was done with local anesthesia and there was very little pain and discomfort. I was sent home with an eye ointment and all the prescriptions I needed to stay pain free and heal well. There was no pain during recovery at all, so I ended up not using the pain meds. The undereye bruising cleared in about a week. I had a minor complication, chemosis in the right eye, that appeared about a week after the surgery. It's important to note that this can happen to anyone who gets this procedure done, regardless of choice of surgeon. Dr. Newman saw me quickly, and suggested continuing to use the ointment they supplied earlier, and the chemosis cleared up in about a week. I also just want to say how great Dee was especially, I love how personable and friendly she is, and when I came into the office she seemed to read my mind (I already wanted the lower bleph but hadn't said anything yet, and she seemed to already know!! haha.) Anyway! I'm happy with the results Dr. Newman managed to achieve for me, and I'll very likely be back to try out some non surgical treatments too in the future.

Dr. Newman is an excellent surgeon, well-experienced, and provides superior follow-up. He is friendly, helps you understand the procedure, and has a good demeanor. His office staff is friendly, responsive, and helpful. I highly recommend him for plastic surgery.

I had a procedure done at Premier Plastic Surgery in November 2021 and would not hesitate recommending Dr. Newman to a friend. (I've already been asked!) He and his team are professional, kind, and provide great customer service! They were patient answering my many questions and addressed my concerns. Of note, I'm an RN who has worked in quality and safety for many years and was impressed with the cleanliness and organization of their San Mateo surgical suite. Although he could be a total diva (like many extremely talented docs)due to his educational (Stanford) and professional pedigree, he is totally unpretentious. Grateful to have found him!
